About us
Our story started in 2015 when I came on holiday to South Africa.
I, Sophia from France met Luc, my husband in his home town called Addo.
We first met at the local Pub called Orange Elephant. Addo is also known for the Addo Elephant National Park. Luc’s first gift for my birthday was a silver necklace with an elephant shape as a reminder of where we had met.
Here we are so many years later starting our new life together and what could be a better name that “Elephant” to represent that ?? Ndlovu means Elephant in Xhosa !!!!

We are an ECO friendly establishment set on the Sundays River 30 min away from the Addo Elephant National Park, come enjoy your stay at Ndlovu Addo River Lodge.
The property is Semi Off Grid to provide a confortable stay and not be affected by loadshedding (Power cuts). Ndlovu Addo River Lodge is made for nature lover’s. Monkeys, birds, fish, insects will be your companion during your stay.
For your convenience we offer delicious FROZEN meal options for you to bake in the air fryer placed in each cottage and tent.
We also offer a continental breakfast option deliver to your room in a picnic basket.
